Microsoft releases new update packs for Windows 7 and 8.1

Microsoft has released this month’s update rollups for Windows 7 and 8.1 systems, delivering the latest improvements and fixes to computers that haven’t yet upgraded to Windows 10.

These updates do not come with any security patches, but only general improvements and bug fixes, so you are strongly recommended to install them as soon as possible because they could address critical performance problems in the supported systems - you can check out the full change log in the box at the end of the article.

While you can download the new update rollouts manually using the links below, it’s also important to know that they are also shipped via Windows Update, but they’re only labeled as optional, so you won’t get them automatically.

Update rollups are packs of updates that are delivered as a single archive in order to make them easier to install, especially for IT admins who have to deploy them on more than one computer.

Microsoft is releasing them every month for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 (as well as Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2), and they include only performance improvements and bug fixes, with security patches rolled out separately on Patch Tuesday.
Below you can find the download links for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1, en-US version (Microsoft warns that if you install a language pack after you install this update, you must also reinstall this update):

Please wait with patience to see, if these new updates( KB3177723, KB3179573 and KB3179574) are creating any problems or solving them.
I personally would not rush in to update but wait and see the outcome.
