With "Steganos Safe 18" you encrypt sensitive files securely in an up to two terabyte large data vault, which you can easily access via any program. The security software, which you can download exclusively as a free full version from COMPUTER BILD, protects your data with a 384-bit AES-XEX encryption algorithm. In addition to a classic password, optional external devices such as USB sticks and USB hard disks or smartphones act as access keys. In addition, you can "hide" coded data completely in pictures, videos and audio files, or you can use "Safes-in-Safe". The data vaults can be stored not only locally, but also on portable media such as USB sticks and CDs or in a cloud storage at Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive or MagentaCloud. As an extra feature, there is a "shredder" for secure deletion of files.
