To install the AutoBackup software, unzip the setup file that suits your operating system: ooab_6_0_88_Win32_PRO_GER.exe on a 32-bit Windows, ooab_6_0_88_x64_PRO_GER.exe on a 64-bit Windows. Double click on it and follow the instructions. At the end you have to register: Visit the exclusive action page from O & O, which queries your e-mail address. The manufacturer then sends you a link, which you click on. Some time later, another message arrives in your inbox: It contains the unlock code. In the startup wizard of O & O AutoBackup, activate "I would like to enter my license" and fill in the fields "Name", "Company" and "Serial number" according to the information in the second O & O mail. This converts the 30-day trial into an unlimited full version.

Free full version: CutOut 5 for removing annoying image parts

To use CutOut 5, a free registration is required. The start in the installation program: Click on "Internet", whereupon a website opens in the browser. Type in your email address and check "I'm storing and processing (...)" and "I particularly agree with that (...)". After clicking "Submit", you can retrieve your e-mails - look in the Spam folder, except in the Inbox. After a few minutes, an e-mail from Franzis Verlag should have arrived. Open the message and click on the registration link. Now call the inbox again and open another mail from the provider. In it you will find a customer number (user ID) and a registration code.

After starting CutOut 5 asks a so-called license key. It concerns the registration code from the Franzis Mail. Insert the string and confirm with "Activate".

If you simply want to take a screenshot of the contents of your PC screen, you can use the "Screen shot" program. The free COMPUTER BILD edition allows you to capture areas drawn with the mouse, a current window, the entire desktop or even the complete contents of several connected monitors. A special feature is the photographing of web pages. If you're using Firefox or Google Chrome, "Screen Shot" offers the ability to capture scrollable web pages as graphics. This means that the software also takes into account the part of a website that can not be viewed directly in the browser window. Alternatively, activate the tool with a pre-set screenshot type via the print key or via a small icon that latches in the title bar of each program window.

Edit screenshots and watermark them
If you have taken a screenshot with the free tool "Screen Shot", a small image editor will automatically open, with which you can edit the screen snapshot and crop it. You can, for example, insert text of the desired size and font color, draw freehand lines, rectangles, arrows or ellipses, highlight areas with a highlighter, or blacken sensitive elements such as mail addresses and names. Practical: Picture elements on a screenshot can be jerked off, with a click of a mouse, starting from one. Also useful is the inclusion of watermarks. You can choose between text or an imported graphic. Both can be faded in with an individual degree of transparency. When your screenshot is finished, export it as a graphic (PNG, JPEG, GIF, BMP) or as a PDF file. Alternatively, print the screenshot or copy it to the clipboard. If you upload the screenshot to the cloud of the program provider, you can copy the corresponding link and make it available to friends or colleagues.

After downloading and installing the program at COMPUTER BILD, register with the manufacturer's e-mail address. You do this by using a link during setup. In the appearing browser window you will see an activation code. Copy and paste this into the setup window. The installer will check the key and start the setup. Afterwards, Ashampoo Music Studio 2018 will be available for your unlimited use.

PC Fresh 2018

Make windows faster

PC Fresh 2018 is dedicated to four areas: autostart and service optimization, tweaking, and system information. The more startup programs load at PC startup, the fewer resources are available. This may slow down programs that you want to work with. In a list you see the usually biggest brakeman, the autostarts, clearly arranged among each other. With the search function you can quickly find certain nerve tools to prohibit their automatic computer startup. The function even takes into account the Task Management Library of Task Management; such potential brakeman does not run the task manager of Windows 8.1 / 10. The service management prevents the automatic loading of always invisible mini-programs, the services. Unlike startup, they have neither a graphical interface nor a notification area icon. At least a small performance advantage can be achieved here.

PC Fresh 2018: register for free

After double-clicking on the setup file, you confirm a warning message from the user account control. Follow the installation wizard with several clicks on "Next". In the installation step "What additional tasks should be performed?" You decide whether the program should create a desktop icon and load it at system startup. If necessary, remove the second hook. At the end of the installation, select "Finish". The program starts automatically and requires a free registration. Type in the first and last name as well as the e-mail address, accept the terms and conditions by ticking and select "Request free activation by e-mail". If you have not yet registered a program with the manufacturer, open the e-mail inbox and click on the confirmation link in the message from the manufacturer. Then PC Fresh 2018 is unlocked.

The "Ashampoo Photo Commander 15" is an all-round solution for editing, optimizing and managing digital photos.
