I just upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 (still suing windows 8.1 on desktop).
Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to get that search icon off of the task bar -the icon the opens up stories and cortana etc. Thanks!

Sorry can't post any screenshots right now but right click on the task bar go to search and should give you 3 options where the first option is hidden.
Click on hidden and should hide the search from the task bar.

Thank you I will give it a try.
I have Windows 10 on my laptop, but I am still a little hesitant to put it on my main PC. What do you guys think? Do you think it would be safe to install it on my main PC yet?
