Bethesda might have just launched a downloadable content pack associated with Fallout 4 that was centered on expanding the options associated with base building, called Wasteland Workshop, but it seems that the development team has even bigger plans when it comes to the next DLC, Far Harbor.

The studio has delivered a beta version of update 1.5 on the Steam digital distribution system, and gamers have also explored it for clues about the future of the open world experience, with a Reddit user getting a detailed list of the new options that gamers will have when it comes to settlement expansion.

Boxcars can be added to player-driven locations, apparently only in blue and orange, and there are unique scaffoldings and warehouses that can be erected alongside barns and ball tracks, with elevators added for gamers who want to create multiple storied houses.

Far Harbor for Fallout 4 will also add more posters as well as racks and display cases that will allow gamers to show off their unique equipment while advanced switches and machinery can be used to create manufacturing areas in settlements.

Bethesda has not offered a full look at the kinds of enhancements that will be part of the third major DLC pack for its open world title.
"Fallout 4 is preparing for the second round of content drops"

Far Harbor will take gamers to an entirely new area of the universe, which is set on an island off the coast, which has some unique factions that gamers will have to interact with and new enemies to battle as they try to deal with new challenges that seem to involve Nick Valentine and his unique sleuthing abilities.

This is the biggest DLC drop associated with Fallout 4 and Bethesda says that it is working on the second season of new experience that might debut as early as this fall although the team has not offered any kind of details about its plans.

The company is currently also working on the Survival Mode for the game, which is designed to make the game more challenging by significantly revamping the combat system and the way characters interact with resources like water, food and shelter.

Bethesda says that its most recent open world experience has been a hit with fans and the decision to offer extra DLC is designed to keep gamers engaged with it for even longer.
