Welcome to the Epic Games Store Winter Giveaways 2022 Megathread. Epic Games will be giving away 1 game for free every day until December 29th.

Just like last year, I'll update the main post in this thread every day with the name of the current game that's being given away.

You have 24 hours to claim a game. Once you add it to your library, you can play it anytime you want to, so all you need to make sure is that you don't miss any of the 15 games. That's the whole point of this megathread, so it doesn't get buried by new threads.

Epic Games Store discount coupon

The Epic Games Store is also hosting its Holiday Sale from December 15th to January 5th, and a lot of games have been discounted. You can avail a 25% discount on purchases, providing that the cart value is $14.99 or above (differs for regional prices).

This basically means you get a $3.75 discount when buying a $15 game. That's not exactly a great deal, but you can add a more expensive game, or multiple low-priced games to get a bigger discount. e.g. a $40 game at 25% off would cost $30, that's a $10 discount.

It's worth noting that the coupon is not valid for pre-orders and DLCs. The discount is unlimited, so every time you buy something that costs $14.99 or above, you save some money.

So, the mystery game clue for tomorrow has some trophies in the image. Apparently it will be Horizon Chase Turbo, which has been given away previously.
