"The material for Wreckage comes from our recording experiments at the Stella Maris Chapel here in Wellington - loud sounds in a BIG room.

We placed a tube amp in the center of the room, cranked it up and hooked up a Fender Precision Bass, our Korg Polysix synthesizer and a bowed double bass and played some big single events with a very long sustain, we also used some big percussion instruments, timpani, snare and bass drums.

The resulting recordings were a hit with us and have now found their way into our own idiosyncratic modwheel sample library."
