User Interface


The user interface is very friendly, easy to use and well arranged. The left side shows preview window and the right side shows toolbar with many buttons available. The interface will show different options depending on the tab you will select. There are video recordings manager with thumbnail view, audio recordings manager, benchmarks manager, screenshots manager. HUD is displayed when the program is connected to your applications, games or desktop. It will provide you with many information. For example;  current and average framerate, 3D engine detected, status icon, progress bar, free and used disk space.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF RECORDED VIDEOS?


Mirillis Action! records Windows desktop, gameplay and all other videos in AVI 2.0 file format (using proprietary Mirillis FICV video codec) or in MP4 file format (using H.264/AVC or H.265/HEVC codec).

Improved very long recording saving (application is no longer blocked during this process)
Added mouse cursor highlight (for MP4 files). Mouse  cursor highlight is enabled by selecting "visualize mouse clicks" option in Settings->Video tab. This option works in "Active screen" capture mode only.
Added option to change Action! process priority (Settings->General tab)

Mirillis Action! HUD settings


HUD displays free disk space, FPS and a timer indicating the length of the recording. Mirillis Action! is the only product worldwide featured in a unique option of HUD opacity settings. This is available for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 Desktop, D3D9, D3D10, D3D11, D3D12 and OpenGL. It allows users to set the level of HUD visibility on the screen.
Depending on users’ needs, HUD might not be included in the recorded video. This means that it will be visible on screen but not recorded. You can do this simply from the settings
Additionally, HUD might show recorded webcam preview which is helpful while recording videos with camera view. This option allows to monitor and improve the recording settings right away.
Another very interesting feature of Mirillis Action! is Live Streaming viewers statistics. This option shows streamers how many people watch their video at a given moment. The position of HUD on screen can be freely modified.

Its unbelievable to have this as a Giveaway, i always wanted this to record some of the game that i could post it on youtube.
But ver.4.0.0 is compatible with Win7,8 and 10 but not 11. Hence there is a Giveaway for this software. There are tonnes of features in this software and recording games at HD quality is one of them.
