Sky News Australia Agriculture Minister David Littleproud has called on people to not "panic buy" as supply chains face ongoing pressure around the country.
"It's important that when you go to the supermarkets, you only get what you need," Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.
"You just do your normal shop because if you don't, you're actually putting more pressure on these supply chains to regain the traction they've had.
"Everyone has a role to play in this and we're just saying to people, don't panic buy."
