All content will be moved to Microsoft Learn this month
Nov 5, 2021 23:29 GMT  ·  By Bogdan Popa  ·      Channel 9 has long been a great way to take a peek at what’s happening behind the closed doors at Microsoft and see how all the new products come to be.

For many people out there, Channel 9 has served as a platform to obtain first-hand technical information directly from the people working at Microsoft, so in many ways, it’s been a great learning tool for those interested in such valuable documentation.

This is why an announcement released by Microsoft today makes so much sense.

Channel 9 is being integrated into Microsoft Learn, with all the content to be migrated to the new platform later this month.

Lots of improvements planned for Microsoft Learn
“Later this month, you’ll find thousands of hours of current technical knowledge that you’ve come to expect from Channel 9 in its new home alongside our hugely popular documentation and Microsoft Learn content,” Microsoft announced.

“In addition to the “made by developers for developers” content you’ve come to expect, your favorite Channel 9 productions will continue to march to the beat of their own drummer, just in a new location.”

Needless to say, Channel 9 will continue to evolve, but at the same time, it’ll also help Microsoft Learn evolve at a faster pace. Microsoft says it’s bringing lots of technical shows to Learn, so if you’re interested in such stuff, there’s a lot happening on the platform this month.

“With Microsoft Learn, we’re committed to bringing you deep technical content across a variety of media. Join Learn TV November 8 for the launch of Visual Studio 2022 at VS 2022. And November 9, we’re hosting .NET Conf 2021, a three-day developer event that celebrates the major releases of the .NET development platform,” the company explained in the announcement shared this week.
