The GOG.com digital store is giving away The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, an enhanced edition of the popular game The Witcher, for free to all users of the GOG Galaxy 2.0 Launcher.

The Witcher is an RPG RPG game developed by the Polish company CD Projekt RED. The game is based on the novel by Andrzej Sapkowski.

The game is set in a dark mystical country, known simply as the continent. The main character is Geralt of Rivia, the witcher is a genetically improved person with special abilities, trained to kill monsters. The game contains three different paths that affect the game's storyline. These are the following paths: an alliance with the Scoia'taels, a guerrilla group of elves and other non-humans fighting for freedom; an alliance with the Order of the Burning Rose, whose knights defend the country of Temeria; or the lack of an alliance to maintain "witch neutrality."

To obtain a free license for The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, follow these steps:

Go to GOG.com and sign up for an account if you don't have one.
A prerequisite for obtaining a free license for the game is to install a new launcher from the digital store GOG. Follow the link, download and install the GOG GALAXY 2.0 launcher .
Log in to the launcher. In the launcher interface, after authorization, a banner will be displayed with an offer to pick up the game. Select the option "Yes, I take it"

The game will then become available in your game library.
