Quote:Microsoft has announced a new feature that allows Windows 10 users running Insider builds to launch their Android apps directly in Windows 10.
This feature is only supported on select Samsung Galaxy devices and allows Android to stream apps to your Windows 10 devices.
To use this feature, Samsung Galaxy users must first link their device with Windows 10 using the Your Phone app.
Once this is done, they can select the 'Link to Windows' button, and a list of the available apps will be displayed in Windows 10, as demonstrated below.
Windows 10 users can then launch an Android app and display it in its own window that runs directly on their desktop outside the Your Phone app.
For now, only a single mobile app can run at once on Windows 10, but Microsoft is targeting to offer support for running multiple apps at once in November 2020 for Galaxy Note20 owners.
Microsoft states that they are working with Samsung to bring this feature to a broader range of devices.
While this feature should work with most mobile apps, Microsoft warns that some mobile apps may not allow their content to be displayed on other screens.
To use this feature, you need to be running the latest Windows 10 Insider build 20185 and running the latest version of the Your Phone app.
