Marvel’s Avengers beta launches for PS4 first in August

The beta will be available for PS4 pre-order customers beginning on August 7, and for Xbox One and PC pre-order customers on August 14.

Open beta access will be available from August 14 on PS4 and August 21 on other platforms, IGN reports.

Creative Director Shaun Escayg told the site that the beta will introduce players to campaign content
co-op missions, hero progression, and exploration in War Zones and Drop Zones.

Developer Crystal Dynamics will discuss what’s on offer in the beta in more detail during a Marvel’s Avengers live stream on
July 29 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm UK.
