I'm from Spain, here we all saw what was happening in China, it was very far, then Italy, closer, and now it's here.
Every day more infected people, people ignored, all in bars, cinemas, shopping malls etc.
the government taking very weak and late measures.
Since tomorrow everything has changed, we are all afraid, now all the measures are drastic.
three days ago in the supermarket there is no chicken meat or any kind

everything else can be found, people buy everything when the doors open.
It is not critical, I do not intend to scare, just inform, the most curious thing is that there is never a toilet paper. The ass can be cleaned with water.
This will happen in your countries sooner or later.
So the best thing is to be at home and collaborate.
and when you go to the supermarket leave something for others.
Now in Spain everyone has a full fridge, tomorrow there will be no problems.

It's the same situation here in Belgium.
All places where many people may be present at the same time (schools, events, cafes, restaurants, hotels, etc.) must remain closed.
During the week, department stores can open, but at weekends they must also close.
Only food stores and pharmacies can stay open.
Non-urgent consultations and operations in hospitals are postponed until after April (or later).
The aim is to limit as much as possible the demand for Covid-19 testing and to free up staff and equipment in the hospitals to cope with it.

in Spain everything closed except pharmacies, supermarkets, medical clinics of all kinds and sale of tobacco.

We can only go out on the street individually, and to buy something of strict need or go to work or to the doctor

Here in the USA things are also starting to get bad as well.  Here in Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine on Thursday ordered all public and private K-12 schools to close for three weeks, beginning at the end of the school day Monday, in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The “extended spring break” will affect 1.7 million students as well as parents who will scramble to find childcare or make arrangements to work from home. The closure, which does not apply to daycare centers, could extend beyond the three-week period, the governor said. Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton also signed a public health order immediately banning gatherings of 100 or more people in confined indoor or outdoor spaces. The order exempts public transit, medical facilities, retail spaces, libraries and other transient settings as well as offices, restaurants, factories, athletic events without spectators and religious gatherings including weddings and funerals. Public health orders may be enforced by police but DeWine said he hopes people will abide by them out of a sense of civic duty and patriotism.

Grocery store shelves are also getting empty from people buying as soon as they are restocked. All the 24 hour stores are reducing their hours of being only open for 12 hours. It's a big change of life as we all knew just 1 week ago.

"American isolationism" is now the greatest it has been since the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941 ... and it may grow greater in the days ahead.

just staying home can be effective.
mike, your governor's measures are insufficient
This is how we started in Spain and Europe.
Stay home if possible, cases increase exponentially.

Psychologist explained the lack of fear of coronavirus in Russians
Russians are much less worried about the situation around coronavirus than residents of other countries. This opinion was expressed by clinical psychologist Mikhail Hors in conversation with the publication Nation News.
According to him, citizens of Russia are hardened by serious tests in the history of the country, among which the pandemic coronavirus is far from the worst.

"We had and have nothing in the country, the late 1980s - the early 1990s, and war on the streets, and rampant crime, banditry," - explained the specialist.

At the same time, he noted that young Russians still fear this disease more than their parents. According to the psychologist, this is due to the fact that young people do not have such experience of overcoming disturbances as the older generation.

In addition, according to Horse, parents often try to protect children from the realities of life.

According to the latest data, coronavirus SARS- CoV -2, which causes pneumonia of the COVID-19, is confirmed in 59 Russians. The day before, 45 Russians were reported ill. Two people fell ill 24 Moscow.

Pollution was at its peak and people were using resources recklessly, then this incident happened.
Pollution has gone down a lot and people are realizing the value of resources.
Billions of people live in this world and only a few thousands have died, more people die each day due to road accidents, but this incident has scared every one. This is what they wanted. They could have easily put a more potent virus, one that would have not spared any one. But they have given us a chance, this is the reason that we see mostly old people are dying and the virus doesn't cause much problem to children.
We could have been easily wiped out like the dinosaurs, but we should be thankful to them that they didn't do that.
I hope everybody understands.
