After the murder of the German, hundreds of people marched through Chemnitz to 'show
#1
Additional police forces were sent to Chemnitz (Tenement House) in the state of Saxony in eastern Germany after hundreds of demonstrators marched through the city center yesterday, chanting slogans against immigrants. Riots also broke out.
The organization of Kaotic Chemnitz supporters called on supporters to go out on the streets after a 35-year-old German from Saturday to Sunday was mortally wounded in a brawl (two more were wounded). The police say that several foreigners were involved in it. Kaotic Chemnitz - banned at the local stadium of the Chemnitzer FC club - said that he wants to 'show who is in the city!'. Today, it is known that the perpetrators are 23-year-old Syrian and 22-year-old Iraqi.

The German government strongly condemned the 'extreme right' civic mobilization. Chancellor Angela Merkel spokesman Steffen Seibert said 'it's so foolish, it's hunting people who look different or have different nationalities, trying to spread hatred in the streets - we will not accept it.'
Police in Chemnitz estimated that the crowd had about 800 protesters and added that some were 'hostile to the police and threw bottles.' Spontaneous protest surprised the police. Chemnitz is located in Saxony, a region where influences Alternatives for Germany (AfD) and Pegida are particularly strong. AfD can count on the support of even every third voter.
