Users usually store files into folders then sub-folders. Sometimes you may need sub-sub-folders. This arrangement is called vertical or hierarchical categorization. On the other hand, our brains work in a different way: you remember things based on their characteristics. This fact makes organizing and finding files in our computers a difficult and even time-consuming job especially with long term use and thousands of files available.
Tabbles is a tagging software that tags any kind of file, emails (in Outlook), and bookmarks. This makes it easy for you to organize all your files independently from folders. In addition, you will be able to find any file easily and quickly. No need to remember where you save your file, you only need to know what they were about. Tabbles allows you to combine tags with a few mouse clicks and immediately finding any file you need. In case the file is archived on a disconnected drive, the program will tell you what drive you need to connect.

The program is compatible with windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10. For LAN mode, it requires Microsoft Sql Server Express 2008 or above. .NET framework 4.5

Tabbles are special containers that you can use to organize your files, documents, emails, and Internet addresses. You can then use tabbles to find, sort and share your data in a totally new way.

A tabble is a both a tag and a virtual folder.

Tabbles are tags that you apply to files and other data. They are also special folders, because they can be combined, intersected and subtracted from each other. This will help to create dynamic combinations of files.
You can put files in as many tabbles as you want, without duplicating them. No disk space will be wasted. The magic starts when you try to open the tabble and combine it with other tables. You can easily find what you need with no need to remember the directory or drive where you save the files you need. You can tag files automatically using predefined rules you set.

Installation:

After you download the installer file from the official website, you can easily install the program. Simply double click on the installer and select the language, then the program installation will go automatically till it is complete. The program will install Microsoft SQL express and visual studio tools for office on your computer. System restart will be required to complete installation.

Purchase and Registration:

 The program has three versions, home, business and corporate. You can select the one suitable for you. The license key will be sent to your email after purchase.  Strat registration dialogue under help menu and submit your license while connected online

Organize files:

When you download or create a new file, there is more than one place to put it. Have you wondered in which folder it is best to put the file? Tabbles allows you to find your files, emails, documents and internet addresses by simply describing them in a natural and easy way.

Tabbles Cloud:

This is built-in feature which spares you from Sql Server installation. It will simply use the program remote server. It will be slower than Tabbles normal, so please consider this only as a demo of Tabbles, which is easy for you to try. It is an experimental feature, not meant for daily use. Your tags (not the files themselves) will be hosted in the app own database hosted online.
All you need to do is to first register an account, which is simple and easy. Just click on "Create user" and register on the website. The registration page will send you an email. That’s all!

Tabbles LAN:

This will provide the best user experience and control on your data. You have to install Microsoft Sql server and configure it correctly for usage with Tabbles. If you do not have Sql Server, you can download the free express version. Your tagging data will be stored on your own Microsoft SQL Server. This allows for fast collaborative tagging across many computers.
This option includes 4 sections, create database, create the superuser, create login, update database
Database creation needs you to provide the credentials of Sql Server user with administrator permissions. You can either use "Windows Authentication" or "Sql Authentication". The superuser is the first user in your organization. This is a user with elevated privileges. Other users are not created using this dialogue, instead they are created using user control panel within Tabbles.

Using Tabbles Local:

If you plan to use the program on a single machine then this option will be suitable for you. There will be no collaboration between users. Simply click GO and you are done
You will now go to the local program user interface. It includes upper menu with 8 buttons; file, view, edit, history, sharing, tools, options, help. On the main window, there is left sided bar that shows the Tag browser and main program window
Below the menu bar, you will find the search option and the new tags and searches

Auto-tagging:

Tabbles has a built-in feature that allows users to tag files automatically based on the folder structure

The Combine function:

You can combine or exclude (subtract) tables. This feature will show the files that are in all the tabbles.

Access your tagging from several PCs:

You can use the program to tag and search files on up to 3 PCs with a single license. This feature is available in the business and corporate editions of the program.

Outlook integration:

Using the program API and Outlook plugin, you can now tag Outlook emails with the help of an advanced tagging GUI. You can also group and search emails by combining tags with a few mouse clicks. Tabbles has an easy to use interface which will help you to easily perform many actions.
In addition, you can sync your whole categories with Tabbles. The pogram creates a tabble for each category and tags each tagged email as well

Tagging folders:

Using the program, you can put folders into tables. This is easily done using right click in windows explorer, paste or drag and drop or right click menu from within the app. You can tag the folder and all its files.

You can tag any file on your computer using the right click menu. This is done through explorer Integration. This let you have many features such as track file movement, show tagging in Explorer, context menu in Explorer

Users and groups:

If you are an administrator in Tabbles network you can set accounts of your employees. In addition, you can also set their permissions, create tag hierarchy for them and many more. You can also assign users to groups and set their roles

Folder synchronization tools (Cloud Synchronization Tagging):

These built-in tools allows tables to work with dropbox, one drive and many others. You can use these tools to create identical copies of a specific folder on many computers. After you complete this you need to specify synchronization rule to tell the program that these two folders are the same

Tag sharing:

The program has built-in tools and features which support share of your tagging with colleagues. This feature allows users to tag files socially. In this way, you can easily create a tag cloud with all the your files, (for example; documents, emails, bookmarks and many other) that are relevant to a certain team or department. The shared tags will be available for browsing to all the team members.
With tabble sharing, you can organize the chaos on your shared drives. One person can tag, and all the others can benefit from it; or each person can tag his own files and make the tagging available to others.
You will also have a powerful users and permission system. This lets you determine who can tag with what tabbles, and who can open what tabbles.
The process is very easy, simply create user from the user control panel, then create groups to assign users , finally share your tags.
