Basketball Camp

This app does not take the place of personalized instruction, however so many kids shy away from the wonderful game of basketball due to nervousness or fear of embarrassment. Imagine how you would feel on the first day of that $115 basketball camp in front of all the other participants, when you’re handed not one, but two basketballs and told to dribble from one end of the court to the other while everyone watches. Sounds like a Nightmare you once woke up from Right? Well that’s a real and likely scenario.

We all know that new players struggle to dribble with just one basketball in their dominant hand, much less their off-hand. Now, imagine yourself walking or even running from one end of the court to the other dribbling with two balls. Can you see it? Imagine how proud you would be of yourself, imagine how proud Mom and Dad will be. You’re the most envied kid at camp. You quickly become “that kid” the one coach calls up every time to demonstrate the drill to the other kids……Okay, okay Showoff!

The app is meant to expose you to some of the basics that a camp might cover, but you will be better at those drills because you have exposure, experience and proficiency at performing them. The coach might demonstrate a between the legs move finishing with a jumpshot. However, the app already exposed you to how to go between the legs in the Ball Handling section and the Shooting section showed a demonstration of what a jumpshot consists of. Now, while marrying the two together might be a bit difficult at first, you will have a better than average chance of performing the drill than the others that are experiencing both moves for the first time ever. There's even a Double Crossover Step Back move thrown in here for you. This app will grow and new things will be added often. The app gives you the confidence and the edge and fully maximizes that $115 your parents will invest in an actual camp. Don’t be nervous about camp, practice the drills in the app and then imagine being “that kid”.
