I have used Partition Assistant before & have an old version in my pc. This is the best partition program to resize disk partition safely & smoothly. It support Dynamic Disk, GPT/UEFI & SSD migration. It can work with all windows version. Windows integrated partition tool is poor so AOMEI Partition assistant is the best program for my needs.

AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro is a free disk partitioning software program which can copy, extend, resize, delete, format partitions and is able to create a bootable Windows PE OS that runs AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro before Windows starts up.
Followings are the features I like most :
1. Extend the system partition without needing to reboot the computer.
2. Enter the values either manually to define the partition size or slide a button left or right to make it smaller or larger on resizing the partition
3. Two adjacent partitions can be merged into one using the Merge Partitions wizard
4. Change the file system to and from NTFS and FAT32 without erasing the data
With these above features, I am anxious to get this free license to have a test on it.

This software can back hdd if your accidently clean hdd w/o format is will restored.
so, i recommended this software for management storage/hdd/ssd is not bad. i mean is good for your task manage storage.
