Write a short review about your experience and favorite features regarding the program (in a few sentences)
The best thing I like is the OCR feature. I have tried some free OCR programs and never got anything that could be of my use. For my use OCR is important, as I have scan files as well as while studying I prefer to make hand written notes. Later I use my handwritten notes as base and keep adding more to it. Therefore, I could save a lot of time typing the hand notes, as I'm very bad at typing. Further it's nice to see that PDFelement creates editable and searchable files from a scanned document.
I also liked the Redaction feature, where in once can hide text to become invisible.
Also the Bates numbering feature is useful because when I print a PDF book, the page numbers are not clearly visible. Therefore, using Bates numbering I could easily specify number on my custom position, making it easily identifiable.
The Convert to EPUB format is useful as I can convert my notes to EPUB and import to Google Books and access it anywhere.
Lastly, the Optimization feature can help one benefit a lot by saving printer ink, without having to depend on the printer. Usually, the page optimization is done at printer end depending on their make/type. Here, one could get the same done at user level.
What are the new features you like to see
There are 2 features that I couldn't find in PDFelement Professional and would like to see them being added:
1. Redaction of PDF metadata
2. Ability to automate say a conversion/extraction based on watched folders.
Thanks,
Grr
