The search for freely available WLAN networks and hotspots can be relatively complex. The program WLAN-LIVE-Scanner from abylonsoft can help. The program checks at regular intervals whether open WLAN networks are nearby and displays these in a tree structure. In addition to the network name, the tool also displays the connection status, network type, encryption algorithm, and signal strength in percent.
