NTFS Mechanic handles all types of problems that can occur with NTFS-formatted disks and your data stored on them. NTFS Mechanic can undelete deleted files and folders, recover files removed from the Recycle Bin, locate and restore files from formatted, damaged and inaccessible NTFS disks. Unlike simple undelete tools, NTFS Mechanic goes one extra step by repairing the damage, unformatting formatted NTFS partitions and recovering partition tables, boot records and other disk system structures to restore access to damaged and inaccessible disks.

The preview displays formatted documents, plays back video and music, enters compressed archives, and displays images of various formats. More than 220 types of files can be previewed.
