It really makes my downloads very fast.
I use it every time I download something.
Whether it's an audio, video, photo or a document.

Why do I want to win a license for Internet Download Manager?

I have won a license for IDM in another contest a couple of years back and loved it. 

... It is the best downloading app I have ever used for all the reasons in Danielx64's review. 


The features I especially like are:
1. Obviously, the speedup of the thing (file/video, etc.) I am attempting to download.
2. Internet Download Manager's integration with the browser I am using at the time.
3. IDM's ability to grab and download video & music files from online sites. 

This is a great software app to have a contest for during our forum's anniversary.

Ohhh dear, finally i am getting a chance to get my hands on this.
Believe i used to use this very much and it used to work wonders.
Downloads could be paused and host of other things like resume the download and set a tone after its complete etc etc
is very ingenious and i love to use such tools.

IDM is one of the best DM's with ability to increase the  download speed to the maximum limit. It is easy to use and install and downloads all kinds of files like Video, Audio, Programs etc. and Automatic Antivirus checking is an added bonus for security.
I have used IDM in past and never crashed and reliably downloaded everything!

I used IDM until it expired. I liked various features and best is IDM is very fast dowload manager.
