UPDATED QUESTION:

Can anyone who got it understand or see from anything showing on OneDrive how many bytes of storage we actually got?

I already have a free version of OneDrive I got with a special coupon a year or more ago and it shows how much volume of storage I have. But, I can't tell for sure how much I have now. I uploaded one file and it shows its weight. I know what it says above 5TB. Is this actually what we got or is it divided among all on the account?

Also, can we count on this to last into the future or will it be over at the end of the school year since it is a "student/teacher" account?

I got to thinking and I am concerned about uploading a lot of my important stuff if this is very temporary.

1. To get my first email, I had to turn off all my ad and pop-up blockers and have google translate extension working to translate Chinese into English.  ... I also had to wait almost up to two minutes before it showed up in the email box at the top right of the page.

2. Then, to get a second email, I had to use a VPN and do all of the above again.  

*I just now gave it to a forum friend who was having a hard time getting it to work. I hope it is still active when he gets my PM.  ... It's a real tricky bugger, at least for simple-minded me.

I understand all this, I'm not new to such matters. I tried 5 browsers, and with a connected VPN, the page does not load at all.
