The extra storage space is not immediately visible in the account settings. The 100 GB will only be displayed after 30 to 40 minutes.

The 100 GB remain permanently free.

For some reason I could not get my VPN's Germany connection to complete so I tried Switzerland an it worked. ... I can't get it to keep it's English translation after I change it from German to English on the front page.
