I am a Comodo user from the time Comodo version 2 Beta.
Currently use Comodo Firewall (custom settings) i.e no Comodo antivirus or Windows Defender or any 3rd party antivirus or any other realtime security software or any security extension/add-on. System - Windows 10 Pro 64 Bits Protection - Comodo Firewall (custom settings) Other protection/privacy Adguard Premium (custom settings) Sticky Password Manager Premium Windscribe VPN Pro Desktop Client (no extension) Express VPN (no extension) Windows 10 tweaks Enabled/Disabled stuffs in Windows 10 Settings Control Panel. Enabled/Disabled stuffs in Windows 10 Group Policy. Etc...

Currently got Norton IS standard + ZAL + Xvirus firewall + Heimdal. Installed Shadow defender giveway version but it must be going heavy somewhere as seeing pc system processes stay unresponsive sometimes, like freezing for 8-10 seconds. So I uninstalled SD. Also got Adguard, privacy protector giveaway version, Expressvpn(actually a whole host of other vpns too, use whatever suitable).

If you use Shadow Defender on-demand then can disable "start with windows" in the settings. It could be ZAL freezing the system.

Yeah Nortons firewall is very good, just did not want to waste that Xvirus license
 I thought SD was freezing pc as its the latest build & I still got win7 for me with so many other softwares. That no response started after I got the SOS installer build. Before GOTD installer was good had no problem. Webroot+Zal setup in this regard was very light before I switched, ran smoothly. I will try again with disabling from start with the giveway version what tarekma posted in SD thread. Probably have to let one of those 2-3 secondary ones go. Either Zal or Xvirus. |
