Microsoft publishes new Surface Pro 7 ad
Jan 24, 2021 18:16 GMT · By Bogdan Popa Microsoft has recently published a new Surface Pro 7 ad, and this time, the Redmond-based software giant is using a very direct approach to show the world its device is so much better than the Apple MacBook Pro.
Just as expected, the video highlights the differences between the two, and the Surface Pro 7 wins in the comparison battle, as it comes with touch and pen support, a removable keyboard, as well as support for plenty of apps out there.
The MacBook, on the other hand, comes with a Touch Bar that obviously doesn’t provide the same functionality as the Surface Pro 7 features mentioned above.
Special Surface Pro 7 offer
Called “Microsoft Surface Pro 7: The Better Choice,” the ad also highlights a special offer that the software giant has recently released and which lets you buy the Surface Pro 7 and the Type Cover with a $330 discount. The offer is available until January 31 for specific models in the Surface Pro 7 lineup.
“Only Surface Pro 7 has the versatility and portability of both a tablet and a laptop. With features like touchscreen, detachable keyboard and pen, and enough power to run your favorite apps — you can work or play from anywhere. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has everything you need to do what you love,” Microsoft says.
Recently, Microsoft has also released the Surface Pro 7+, an upgraded device that comes with new-generation hardware and is specifically aimed at businesses.
However, aside from the new hardware under the hood, this new model is pretty much just a regular Surface Pro 7, as it features no design improvements. In other words, it still comes with huge bezels all around the screen, so now all the hopes are on the Surface Pro 8 for a major design overhaul.
