My current security software for Windows is F-Secure. It works well, but I would like to use CheckMal to supplement it.
Features that I feel could supplement my current setup in Windows:
-Ransomshelter sounds promising, by backing up files in real time, before they are damaged by ransomware attacks.
This is in addition to the proactive protection against said ransomware.
-MBR and GPT table protection also very important against rootkit and ransomware attacks, that can alter the system from startup already.
-The Office Exploit protection is also a good idea, as this is not really an area focused on by traditional antiviruses.
