Windows secret: free tool launches hidden features
There are various tools for cleaning Windows systems. The system brings a lot of on-board devices, which provide exactly such functions - but are much too hidden. The Sys_Minion tool provides such options at the click of a mouse.

Hard disk cleaning, hardware analysis or the verification of driver signatures: Windows has many hidden functions, which can only be started by a detour or the command line. On the one hand, this prevents the inadvertent execution of such commands by beginners and thus the accidental damage to the system. On the other hand, the way to get there for experienced users or power users is too cumbersome. This in turn leads to the fact that some commands simply fall into oblivion.

To avoid this, Stefano Bordoni has introduced a sleek program with Sys_Minion, which gives you quick access to useful system tools or functions.

The first positive aspect of Sys_Minion: You do not have to install the software. As a further point, you will find both a 32-bit and 64-bit version of the software in the ZIP file, so you only have to choose the file that suits your system

If you have unpacked the archive, you only have to start the version suitable for your system and you will be taken to the start screen. In the left column you will see the respective function that you can access and right you can read what's hidden behind the option. If you start a command, you can also monitor the progress. For example, the program gives you access to the Windows console at the click of a mouse - as an administrator with extensive authority.

The good thing about the tool: It briefly comments on the presented functions (if in English) and shows you as an inexperienced user, which tasks are accepted and which versions of Windows are supported. If you click the "Remove SP uninstall Data" link, you will learn that this feature is supported only up to Windows 7 because the publishing of service packs with Windows 8 has been set.
