"Human Web
Confidentiality declaration
"Human Web" collects usage data from CLIQZ anonymously and in full respect of your privacy.

One for all. All for one. Together for a better internet.

By using CLIQZ, you benefit from the knowledge of the community. The user community contributes - anonymously - to Web statistics. Our search engine uses this data to determine the relevance, reliability and security of websites. We call this technology, which allows to index the Web through the community: "Human Web".

CLIQZ's "Human Web" technology statistically calculates the traffic of websites visited by all users of the "Human Web" community, for example: the Web addresses of the sites (URLs) and the elapsed time. The data is transferred in anonymity, without reference to the personal information or the identity of the user. IP addresses are automatically excluded from Human Web data.

Also, in all anonymity, and separated from web traffic data, CLIQZ for Firefox records the search terms entered in the address bar of community members. Each input is evaluated as a single signal. We never combine the data from different sources and do not try to reconstruct any user profile. Similarly, we never associate search terms with personal data such as IP address or email address.

Participating in "Human Web" is optional

You have the possibility to decide whether CLIQZ anonymously sends statistical data in order to improve the relevance and safety of the Web via «Human Web»."
