I am looking for a new security suite as my ESET Smart Security will expire soon. So I decided to give it a try. This installer is digitally signed August 27, 2012. The version number 20.1.0.24 which was released in 2012 and discontinued.
Decided to give it a try, does ask for an e-mail for activation/registration and will require you to have a Norton Account. The first time the definitions are updated, it was over 300 MB. The version # was not updated only the definitions. I am not sure if there are any under the hood updates.
All seems to be working well for now. Good till September 7, 2016 (Only 90 days).

We took everything you loved about Norton 360, and added better protection, improved performance and superior design to create Norton Security Premium. It’s the best of Norton for your PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets.
