Here is my short list:

• BetterPrivacy : Offer various ways to handle Flash-cookies.
  
• Disconnect : Make the web faster, more private, and more secure.
  
• NoScript : Allow active content to run only from sites you trust, and protect yourself against XSS and clickjacking attacks.
  
• Update Scanner : Monitors web pages for updates.
  

An additionnal add-on is available by installing Free Download Manager 5.

That's all. Remember that your browser will be more responsive if you have a small number of add-ons.
