I have never had a problem with Glasswire. No BSOD, not responding etc. It just works.
It runs nicely in the background.
Non-obtrusive alerts. Nice seeing when a program is accessing the web for the first time.
Great visual representation of programs wanting access to the web, bandwidth taken etc.
Easy to view if a non-standard program is accessing the web and how much data has been sent.
The free version only allows 2 apps to be firewall blocked. The Microsoft firewall is working and doing most of the work. Both run at the same time.
Not needed to block anything as yet.
I have never liked the Microsoft firewall. Previously was only a one-way firewall. Tend to use third-party apps. Used to use ZoneAlarm for my firewall but gone off it for a number of years.
Fingers crossed that I win a premium account. 8-)
