Why do I want to win a license for Internet Download Manager?
I have won a license for IDM in another contest a couple of years back and loved it.
... It is the best downloading app I have ever used for all the reasons in Danielx64's review.
The features I especially like are:
1. Obviously, the speedup of the thing (file/video, etc.) I am attempting to download.
2. Internet Download Manager's integration with the browser I am using at the time.
3. IDM's ability to grab and download video & music files from online sites.

This is a great software app to have a contest for during our forum's anniversary.
(I receive the forum newsletter and try to read it daily & also follow Promo2Day.com's FB and Twitter sites.)
