Differences between versions
Kaspersky Security Cloud Free has limited functionality compared to the versions of Personal and Family. Antivirus includes a virus protection feature and a secure connection. Built-in password manager works with a maximum of 15 passwords, which makes full use of this component.

Secure connection - VPN service to which users can connect to the program. The free version of the volume of traffic is limited to 300 megabytes per day and are not available to the user some of the advanced features, such as the choice to connect the region.

Kaspersky can offer to connect to the VPN automatically depending on the current device connection status. If the device is connected to a public Wi-Fi network, Kaspersky prompts you to install VPN-connection to protect your data and to improve the level of privacy.

Web Console Management

One of the key differences between Free Antivirus is a new remote control, which is incorporated in Security Cloud Free.

Shortcomings and problems
Kaspersky Security Cloud Free requires an account and automatically activates the remote control attached devices. Users who do not need this function, may opt for a Free Antivirus.

It is understood that Kaspersky is trying to make a profit from their products, but in the main interface should still clearly indicate that some options are only available in the paid version.
