The new link removed the standard version I had installed and gave me the ultra once I registered and entered the key they emailed me.

I installed & registered the version 8 ultra of the update link in the first post.
Should I now install the version 9 ultra on top?

Update - Please be aware that the above downloader downloads PhotoDirector_9.0.2218.65303_GM2_Essential_PTD171018-01 even though it says PhotoDirector 8 in the title and and I don't think we can use the license key given via registration.



Was looking forward to trying this out. Fingers crossed for a PhotoDirector 8 installer.

Worked for me.

Could not find a way to register this version 9 : only option is "upgrade" which returns to the site of Cyberlink.

The license is for version 8. If you want version 9 you have to buy the upgrade.

Put any details on the promo form, however, if you desire you may use sites like https://www.fakeaddressgenerator.com/Wor..._generator to obtain a fictitious demographic.
You will need to enter a mobile number to receive an sms > type the code in the sms into the pop-up and a key will be emailed to you.
Use temp sms/text message sites like https://www.receive-sms-online.info or just google temporary sms sites to get other options.
