XYplorer is multipurpose software. It is not just an alternative to the dual-pane file navigator. Script is the most powerful feature and it makes life easier. Also UserButton feature is very handy for me. I am using it's gotd promo version and I love this application.

XYplorer provides many powerful features. What I like the most is the powerful file search. 
The one porvided by Windows also provides some features like searching files by modified time period, file size, etc, but it seems without searching by filename with wildcast symbols / reg expression.
XYplorer does better in this area. I will choose XYplorer.
