Hi everyone,

I know forum is very slow, so I would like to show you what is the configuration of current server.

Server cost per month is almost 50$

If mybb slow, then I think the updated mybb version has some bug which is not compatible with some plugins this can be a reason of slow, it will be fix sooner in next update.

That's to much per month. Maybe you should look into a cheaper cost. I was paying only 100.00 a year.

There is no server bugs anymore.
It's a dedicated server. It's a script issue.
If we put server on shared hosting like yours @Mike 
Website will become extremely slow.

After last restore website was working fast.
But due to plugins update done from admin panel this become slow again.

I will find responsible plugin for this and deactivate it.

Shared Hosting is Cheap but not reliable.

That's why we are paying 0.203 USD per hour for dedicated resources of 32 GB RAM and 8 virtual CPU cores.
Approx 146 usd per month and control panel cost separately.

There is no bugs in server. But there is issues with plugins and script.
I will work on this today itself

I have done Few Js and css optimisation.

Sorry for the delay. as i was busy in previous days in Hospital.
Hope so forum will continue running now with good speed.

Reload Time at Present is just: 573ms
means half a second.
which is great speed.

Thanks for your efforts, but for me no new plugins were installed or updated long time ago. This was not the cause of slow forum website. These plugins were present long time ago. Website speed now is nearly similar to our original situation

The forum is extremely slow with 504 Gateway Time-out many times

I would suggest create a new thread for admins only.


Stating:-
domain name registration details
hosting details
server specs 
mybb php etc versions 
plugins 

Yes, this info can be found online, but easier if all information is in one thread.

Create a schedule of planned maintenance.
planning on date  x   between  hours of y and z   GMT / EST.
Who is doing the work.

That way can separate an issue with maintenance or if hosting issue or wider DNS/router issues.
