By default, the Mac right-click context menu just offers the New Folder option, which allows for new folder creation with a simple right-click. What if you want to right-click to create new files? Luckily, the right-click menu enhancer named after iBoysoft MagicMenu Lite can come in handy.

This Finder context menu enhancer enables you to add new functionalities like new file creation, file copying/moving, and quick access to your right-click menu so that you can right-click to generate different types of new files, quickly copy/move files to a target location, and access frequently used apps, files, and webpage links. Follow the steps to right-click to create new files with iBoysoft MagicMenu Lite:
Step 1 Download, install, and launch iBoysoft MagicMenu Lite on your Mac. This program is compatible with different Mac models running macOS High Sierra, macOS Mojave, macOS Catalina, macOS Big Sur, macOS Monterey, macOS Ventura, or macOS Sonoma.

Step 2 Right-click on the blank space on your desktop or in an opened folder, hover over the New File option, and select a file type (such as TXT, RTF, Doc, Adobe Illustrator, WPS, Keynote, Markdown, Numbers, Pages, PPT, XLS, XML, etc.) from the context menu.

In case the default file templates can't meet your needs, you can manually add a new template file.
