Mainstream providers like Google heavily monitor what you’re doing when you’re on their service, and this applies to your mailbox, too. The great thing with Tutanota - they don’t serve you ads, and they don’t collect data on you. Tutanota uses end-to-end, military-grade encryption - which basically means that no unauthorized party can access your email communications, including Tutanota themselves. What’s more, even your subject line will be encrypted along with the email body and attachments.

Tutanota also offers Perfect Forward Secrecy, which means that encryption keys change often, saving you if one key is compromised. Any other email tracking attempts are also stopped by Tutanota’s privacy practises. In short, Tutanota offers rock-solid encryption which prevents absolutely anyone from reading your emails.

Bonus features:

 Encrypted Search
 Zero-knowledge calendar
  Green email
  Secure connect
  Email aliases

 Mobile and desktop apps:
Aside from the web client, Tutanota has open-source apps for both Android and iOS devices. The apps come with push notifications, swipe gestures (device dependent) and full-text search. Automatic synchronization between your mobile devices and desktop clients is possible, but keep in mind that You can also get beta versions of the Tutanota desktop app. Since these are beta versions, you’ll be missing out on some essential features like 2 Factor authentication or reading emails in offline mode.

Customer support:
This is one aspect of Tutanota that could definitely use some improvements. Customer support inquiries are only accepted if you’re writing directly via your Tutanota email. There’s also no dedicated customer support tab on their email page.
Premium support is locked behind a paywall
  Useful subreddit page

Tutanota pricing:
Free:
