Windows 10 Users Can Now Run Multiple Android Apps at the Same Time
The Your Phone app is getting a major update

Microsoft is once again updating the Your Phone app for Windows 10, this time with one exciting new feature.
Beginning with a new version that’s now available only for insiders, the Your Phone app allows users to run multiple Android apps on their Windows 10 devices.
In other words, Windows 10 users can now run more than one Android app on their desktops, and this is possible side by side, not only with other Android apps but also with Windows software.
“#WindowsInsiders cool new #YourPhone feature headed your way on select Samsung devices. Keep in mind it is rolling out gradually so it may take a few days to be enabled,” Analy Otero Diaz, Principal Program Manager at Microsoft, announced on Twitter.
Only available on select Samsung phones
While this is clearly a major update, it’s only available for select Samsung devices, such as the Galaxy Note20. Oddly enough, the Surface Duo, Microsoft’s very own Android device, doesn’t yet support the option to run multiple Android apps on the desktop.
In addition, your PC must be running at least Windows 10 May 2020 Update, or version 2004, and be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the Android device.
“A few months ago, we introduced Your Phone - Apps feature allowing you to launch and pin apps on your PC. The ability to launch multiple apps simultaneously is now gradually rolling out to selected Samsung devices (details below) and only to the Windows Insider Community on a PC that is configured to be in the Dev, Beta, or Release Preview Channels. This is an early preview so you may still find a few issues, but we would love to hear your feedback,” Microsoft said.
No specifics are available now as to when the feature could go live for more devices.
