WinRAR is powerful archiving software. I have used it for opening and extracting RAR files. The best thing I liked is the context menu for extracting and compressing.
I am currently using 7zip and have WinRAR evaluation copy installed.

My current archiving software is 7-Zip.
I previously used WinRAR in an unregistered version with a constantly pop-up purchase offer. WinRAR proved to be a powerful archiver that supports almost all popular archive formats. The archiver has a good compression ratio and high speed of archive creation, simple interface and clear settings.

My data compression programs are WinRAR and 7-ZIP. I use the first program more often, because it is solid, effective, convenient and I like its interface. I would like to win and replace the older version of this great program.

My current archiving software is PowerArchiver and although it's a great software, WinRAR is almost the only way to create effective RAR file, because RAR has the very important recovery function for RAR files.

1. Reply about your experience with using WinRAR.
  I have been using WinRAR for more than 5 years. It is a must-to-have software for all PC users.
2. What is your current archiving software ?
  Recently I am using WinRar 5.50 and now it is now already 5.80 and therefore need a change for it. WinRar offers a full list of quality ZIP   features and supports a host of extraction formats. There is also a drag-and-drop feature and Archive Wizard. With such favorite features provided, I would not consider other software but WinRara as it it a must-to-have software for PC users.

I'm currently using 7zip as my archiving software because it is free and can do the job but find it limited in terms of features. I'd like to win a lifetime license for version 5.80 because it is the best archiving software, in my humble honest opinion. No software comes close to its great features and functionality, and simple, clean customizable interface, fast compression rates and able to handle almost any archiving formats. I have an old version installed and use it from time to time. Would be a nice upgrade too and replace 7zip. Please count me in.
