The 2024 total solar eclipse will be visible along a narrow path stretching from Texas to Maine on April 8, 2024. The path of totality will only touch 13 U.S. states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout all 48 contiguous U.S. states. The total solar eclipse will be visible for approximately 4 minutes and 27 seconds at its maximum point, allowing viewers to witness the Moon’s shadow fall on the Earth’s surface.
