We once tagged this article "Anti-NSA-PC" - as a reminder: On June 9, 2013, whistleblower Edward Snowden covered the worldwide espionage of Internet communications by the secret service National Security Agency up. According to the accusation, the security authority scans masses of web traffic systematically and automatically. It is difficult to control to what extent the NSA continues to act in this way today. Hardly anyone is safe from such comprehensive surveillance, no matter which state ultimately sniffs out information. In the meantime we have gotten used to this and the panic that once prevailed among some people has gone. But there are still internet dangers today, as there were about ten years ago: These are not much different than in the past. The scams used by Internet gangsters, whose techniques are also used by secret services, have become more professional.
This includes malware such as viruses, worms and Trojans. In addition, data scandals on Facebook, for example, are always good for negative headlines. The question with social media and other web services is not if, but when the next glitch will come.
