''My colleague & three-month presidential candidate from Calif. who’s on the Intelligence Committee, slept with Fang Fang, a Chinese spy.'
Mentions Rep. Ilhan Omar's (D-Minn.) 'brother-husband.' Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) blew Democrats out of the water Wednesday, calling attention to various misdeeds by the party way more inappropriate than Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar’s alleged offense.
During a speech on the House floor arguing against Rep. Gosar’s censure, Boebert highlighted the fact Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) was documented to have slept with a spy dispatched by the Chinese Communist Party. “My colleague and three-month presidential candidate from California, who is on the Intelligence Committee, slept with Fang Fang, a Chinese spy,” Boebert said, referring to Swalwell. “Let me say that again. A member of Congress who receives classified briefings was sleeping with the enemy.”
“This is unacceptable!” she added.
Last December, Axios reported from an FBI intelligence source that China’s Ministry of State Security dispatched their spy Fang Fang (aka Christine Fang) in 2011 to act as a honey trap for California Democrat bureaucrats.
At the time, The Federalist noted:
Fang developed a relationship with Russia hoaxer Swalwell, who began serving on the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and as a ranking member of its Central Intelligence Agency Subcommittee in 2015. Reports from a political operative and intelligence official indicate that Fang raised millions for Swalwell’s re-election in 2014 and helped place at least one intern in his Washington, D.C. office.
Swalwell responded to Boebert on Twitter claiming what he did was not wrong because he was not raided by the FBI, which he celebrates actually happened to Boebert’s former campaign manager Tuesday.
Boebert started off her speech by labeling Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) a member of “the Jihad squad.”
“This is a dumb waste of the House’s time. But since the Speaker has designated the floor to discuss members’ inappropriate actions, shall we?” she began.
“The Jihad Squad member from Minnesota has paid her husband, and not her brother-husband, the other one, over $1 million in campaign funds,” Boebert stated. “This member is allowed on the Foreign Affairs Committee while praising terrorists.”
“A Democrat chairwoman incited further violence in the streets outside of a courthouse,” Boebert said, bringing Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) into the fray.
Boebert’s speech was in defense of Rep. Gosar whom the House moved to censure in a 223 to 207 vote after his office circulated an “Attack on Titan” anime meme via social media showing him slaying Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Joe Biden.
The resolution “censures Rep. Paul Gosar and strips him of his two committee assignments,” reported CNN.
GOP reps. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) jumped the aisle again and voted with Democrats to censure their fellow Republican colleague.
