Quote:[*]Also known as version 1903, this new update is already in the final development stage, so build 18329 doesn’t bring too many breaking changes.
[*]However, there still are goodies to be excited about, such as the so-called top apps displayed in search. This means that whenever you launch the search UI, you’ll see your top apps in the home screen, so no additional typing is required.
[*]Microsoft says this is a feature that’s currently rolling out to users as a server-side update, so insiders will be getting it gradually.
[*]Additionally, Microsoft is also adding support for Win32 applications in Windows Mixed Reality.
[*]“To use this feature, bring up Pins Panel, then go to all apps, where you will find a folder named “Classic Apps (Beta)”. In this folder, you will be able to select and launch any Desktop (Win32) applications,” the company explains.
[*]Not available for everyone
[*]There are also keyboard improvements, as well as updates for the Mail & Calendar apps, which now feature an improved dark, including in the new mail screen. Furthermore, the Mail app is getting a default font option, which Microsoft says is one of the top feature requests.
[*]As with all the other preview builds, there are several other improvements, as well as known issues, and you can check them in full in the box after the jump.
[*]What’s also worth knowing is that Windows 10 build 18329 is blocked for a number of languages, and Microsoft says the following devices won’t get it:
- Windows 10 Home: RO-RO, SK-SK, SL-SI, SR-LATN-RS, TH-TH, UK-UA
- Windows 10 Home N: RO-RO, SK-SK, SL-SI
- Windows 10 Pro: FR-CA, IT-IT, JA-JP, KO-KR, NL-NL, PL-PL, SR-LATN-RS
- Windows 10 Pro N: RO-RO, SK-SK
[*]Everyone else can just head over to Windows Update to download the build right now. Windows 10 version 1903 is projected to be finalized in March and released to users beginning with April.
