The core reason you don’t need an antivirus on Linux is that very little Linux malware exists in the wild.
Sooo firstly if the Android OS is based on Linux Kernel and Linux is unequivocally the most secured operating system ever!!
because the Linux kernel itself has an element called Linux Security Module, which is commonly called Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux).
Secondly Android apps are developed using JAVA programming language, touted the most secured programming language
because it runs inside JVM (JAVA Virtual Machine) which from my understanding isolates the running app from the main OS
using a method called Sandboxing
