SpyShelter 12.1 Released

SpyShelter version 12.1 is live now!

Newest version of SpyShelter is always available on our Download Page.
SpyShelter 12.1 introduces new Screen Phantom feature, which was described in our latest beta release here.

Screen Phantom is an independent module which protects your screen from being captured. It works in a different way than Anti Screenshot Module implemented in SpyShelter, since it does not trigger any alerts – any attempt to take a screenshot or record a video of your screen will result in an output of black screen, thus making it impossible to capture screen content. Screen Phantom does not depend on HIPS module, so if you for example allow process X to take a screenshot while Screen Phantom is enabled,  process X will not be able to capture the content of your screen, because Screen Phantom will block it.

This feature can be enabled in Settings>Security tab in SpyShelter Silent, SpyShelter Premium and SpyShelter Firewall.


Together with Screen Phantom, some additional improvements to Keystroke Encryption module were made and to SpyShelter installer.

SpyShelter 12.2 Released

SpyShelter version 12.2 is live now!

New version of SpyShelter brings support for Windows May 2020 Update.
You can either update via SpyShelter directly or download new installer from our Download Page.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to issue in new buggy Windows API introduced in 20H1 (confirmed by OS vendor but not fixed yet)
Screen Phantom feature does not work in 20H1 (at least confirmed in builds 19043.1 to 19043.264)
Feature relies on Windows API – we cannot fix OS issues and reliable workaround is not possible at this moment.
Unfortunately we don’t have info when exactly it will be fixed with system cumulative updates.
We’ll keep you updated regarding that matter.
