Microsoft’s new Edge browser
#1

Microsoft is launching its new Chromium-based Edge browser today. It comes with built-in tracking protection, a new Collections feature to grab images and content from the web, and an Internet Explorer mode for businesses. If you’re currently a Chrome user, then it’s very familiar in terms of overall features and the user interface.

Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and macOS users will all be able to download and install the new version of Edge today. Microsoft will be rolling this out via Windows Update to Windows 10 users in the coming weeks, but here’s how to get it right now.

I would love to hear from some of you who have installed either of these browsers. Do either of them replace the old Explorer browser in Windows 7 - or do you keep the old Explore browser and these are additional browsers?

Do they equal the performance and "user-friendliness" of Google Chrome browser or Firefox browser or are they still the browsers of choice?

I want more info before I change my present configuration which is working fine. But if they are better please say so.

I just downloaded to give it a try and all seems to work well except Sticky Password. There is no support or extension for it on the Microsoft Edge browser.
