End of Free NL packages HideIPVPN
#1
Dear Mohammad,

For over 6 years HideIPVPN has offered unlimited, lifetime free VPN accounts. We did that in good faith, to help those of you who for many different reasons were not able to get Premium VPN package.

As you know, HideIPVPN strongly believes in your right to privacy and anonymity online.
However, capacity to use VPN also comes with responsibility. We are very sorry to say this, but majority of such free VPN accounts were used for a lot of different purposes than what they were meant to. Because of that we have received a lot of complains from data-centres and third party companies affected by people through our free VPN accounts.

This got to a point that now starts to affect our Premium VPN accounts and users. That we cannot allow. We were hoping in the past, when we have started free VPN account program, that for our devotion to you we will be rewarded with responsibility that we have mentioned. Unfortunately we were wrong. This situation leaves us with no other choice as to terminate all Free VPN accounts.

All free VPN users will be offered special 70% discount for any of our Premium packages in any billing cycle. We truly hope you will understand our situation and those of you who can and trust us will stay with us and move to Premium plans. To get special discount for any of our Premium packages just use this.

If your Free VPN account was part of an exchange between your site and HideIPVPN, please contact us directly.

All free VPN accounts will be terminated in January 2017.

Firstly i would like to thank HideIPVpn for the several free years service. That being said...

This excuse given is makes little sense. Why didnt you terminate only the offenders? Or set a cap or use traffic shaping. Also, why didnt you email users informing them of the impending termination? Its unprofessional at best. An honest email informing users of the termination due to financial reasons would have had more people signing up to a premium service than cancelling there services without warning. Maybe ive not looked hard enough but I see no mention of the termination on your blog twitter or facebook pages, why keep it quiet if the reasons given were true and justifiable ?
