The search for freely available WLAN networks and hotspots can be relatively complex. The program WLAN-LIVE-Scanner from abylonsoft can help. The program checks at regular intervals whether open WLAN networks are nearby and displays these in a tree structure. In addition to the network name, the tool also displays the connection status, network type, encryption algorithm, and signal strength in percent. In addition, if the access is free, public or already known, the program can automatically access the selected network.

Software runs under Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10.

How to get started: In order to be able to use the software without any restrictions, you need to enter a name and a license code. You get both after a free registration at the manufacturer. To do this, click "Click here to ONLINE-SHOP" at the first program start in the activation window. In the browser window that opens, enter your name and e-mail address and click on "Request registration key". The registration information will be sent to you by e-mail. Enter this data in the activation window - under "Name or CD-Key" you will find the info you find in the mail under "Name or CD-Key" and in the field "License code" the info you can find in the mail under " Key ". Finally, click "Enable".
